I have 1 only 1 cvx 12" sub in a box my husband built in my 1981 Chevy Silverado pickup. It hits so hard, with volume only halfway up tht it makes you cough. I am a proud owner of the CVX but the real pride comes from the box. You find the right amp, sub, & box and you find hard hitting HIGH quality sound. The kicker CVX 12" sub will NOT & HAS NOT disappointed me! Thanks Kicker for your quality products! SWEET PEA is satisfied!
I am building my first big system. Built my own box not a pro at it either. But sounds great. 8 comp 10's in one box. Pumping 3200rms into .5 ohms. All I can say is Kicker never disapoints no matter how you do it. My wife has banned me from turning it up anywhere within a half mile from the house. Someone told me to put some dampening mat before I started and now I understand why, everything rattles. The box could use some help I think but working for now. Two thumbs up Kicker.
Have 89 mazda b2600i 4x4 and wife can hear me coming from miles away, the bass helps me clean her off bumping off a lot of stuck on mud
3 comp 15s on a old school xs100...crazy
Got the Comp12 in a ported SPL box. Started it off by running it on a EX150.2 amp. Sounded ok for the price range, I guess. But once I hooked it up the a AudioBank DAB-3500B dual mono and had it running at 200RMS, mind you its only on one channel for safety reasons, it started really thumping. I was hearing nuances I've never heard before. But now the WHOLE car's rattling like a tractor, so next is dampening. Big ups to KICKER!!!! 100% satisfaction!!!!
I have two comp 15's and two comp 12's, and they don't play around with bass. They're not just loud, they're clear with no distortion. Great subwoofers. A must have for someone who's just looking for a little more thump to their ride.
I'm running 3 of the comp 15's and they pound pretty good, an onc I find me a kicker amp capable of running all three the will get louder..

It’s equipped with all of the proven KICKER construction that you expect, and with an impressive updated look, the KICKER Comp is the complete package. It’s the best balance between high value and high performance in KICKER’s round-subwoofer lineup.
The Comp is loaded with many of the innovations found in elite KICKER woofers, including the stiffest injection-molded cone with flex-killing, 36-degree back bracing, updated coil-cooling perimeter venting, high-temp voice-coil wire, and Spiralead™ tinsel-lead technology for ultimate durability. The Comp is also versatile, performing in vented or sealed enclosures, and in free-air applications as well.
The Comp makes perfect sense for any factory upgrade. With easy-to-use, nickel-plated push terminals, a resilient, updated steel basket, and yellow double-stitched surround, the Comp looks as good as it sounds.
If all of this isn’t enough, the Comp leaves enough cash left over to throw down on a powerful KICKER Amplifier to provide the performance.
Four sizes are available with 4 or 8-Ohm single-voice-coil impedances.
