Had these a little while and it was love at first listening session! Clean blew away my Sennheiser HD 520's...the bass on the Kickers amazed me, and I am a bass freak! Well worth the money, beg borrow or steal the money to get these. You will not be let down!!!
Let me say from the outset that all these previous reviews are telling the truth! I have no affiliation with the owners of this website or the Kicker company, I now realize that none of these reviews have been set-up by the Kicker company, how do i know? Because i have nothing to do with them and wouldn't have a clue where or who the hell they are and i'm here about to rave about these headphones, that's how i know. I thought these sparkling reviews might have been the kicker company just trying to cunningly promote their own headphones when i saw all these consistently positive reviews; how wrong i was. Let me get down to it. My relentless search for perfection had previously cost me $1500, so 6 pairs of headphones later and after also auditioning most of the so-called best headphones in the world including Denon 2000's and Grado 125i's and Sennheiser 580's plus Beats by Dre Pro's and a whole stack of others, i had resigned myself to the opinion that i simply couldn't find what i was looking for, in other words i thought all these headphones were ultimately flawed one way or another from what i could hear, furthermore there are literally thousands of headphones out there and from all my auditioning i had concluded that perfection does not and never will exist. I have been mixing music and producing for 10 years and i always keep an ear out for a better more accurate headphone...Well i'll be damned! "Go you good thing!" Kicker 541 beckoned me from the shelf with its cool design at my local electronics shop where they have 32 pairs of headphones plugged in ready to audition, the name Kicker made me think "What the hell is this?" sounds like some try-hard backyard overnight company attempting to make a quick buck i thought to myself, couldn't they have come up with a better name than that, well let me tell you, i'm glad the name is the only bad thing about this company, because these headphones are damn well nigh on PERFECT! I swear, it seems like God himself has made these headphones, i have audiophile ears and high expectations and standards, and what a shock; Listen to me now, and listen good! I unequivocally state right now after years of experience with listening that these would have to be one of the best headphones in the world! Simple as that, don't get caught up in specs, hype, and pricing regimes, believe me, what's more important is the design of the headphone circuitry and diaphragm and pre-tuning, which to a large extent matters more than the specs, even if that design was a fluke or by accident, all i can say is "Well raise my friggin rent" I can now go to my grave in peace, Thankyou Kicker! Where the hell have you been! You have no idea what you've done for me. These 541's have literally "perfect bass" (giving no more or no less than what the source material is offering) plus excellent midrange clarity, great clarity in vocals, bang-on treble accuracy, loads of detail right across the spectrum, natural accurate warmth, and present clean natural harmonics, plus the sound-stage is bloody-well perfect! Don't make me go on and on and on which i could gladly do, just go in and get these headphones now! If you want better sound than anyone else and at 1/10 the price of the so-called best which cost anywhere between $1000 and $2000, then these are it. It is hard to believe isn't it, well its true, i stake my life on it. Of course i use a portable amp with these, which happens to be a...Go-Vibe Mini-Box-Amplifier, its dimensions are 5cm's by 2cm's by 1cm, it costs $60 and weighs practically nothing, but guess what, for those of you who don't know about amping, it makes a big difference, but quite astoundingly these sound better "unamped" than even amped $1000 headphones, can you believe it, and when i subsequently plug the amp into the 451's, well i'll be a monkey's uncle! Unbelievable sound, i am not exaggerating, if you knew what i've been through and endured and spent to finally arrive at these 541's then you will understand my joy and excitement, i don't believe in telling lies, the Kicker 541's are absolutely fu_king Brilliant, and you will never regret buying them. Oh, and as a bonus you get two cords, one long thick one which obviously has OFC and other high quality components, but also a more appropriate shorter one for portable use which is quite a bit thinner than the other one, but it so happens that the more portable thinner cord gives a slightly different but still great sound...so not only do you get a top notch headphone to start with, but effectively you get to choose between two different types of sound as though having two world-class headphones in one, can ya dig what i'm saying? I rate these headphones as 9.5 out of 10, simple as that, i'm in heaven...Good luck!
These headphones are by far the greatest headphones i've ever strapped to my head. The accuracy of every frequency of sound is outstanding. It will reproduce every sound possible, and do it with perfection. They adore bass, and won't distort sound when you push it through. They handle every sound, and everything you give them, within reason. These are by far better than beats. People say how beats have great bass....well beats blew their drivers when my headphones were still in tact and pumping the bass. They're also pretty comfortable, and the detachable cord helps very much. These headphones will turn anybody into an audiophile. They are well worth the money. I've had them for months now, and the only thing i find wrong is my loss of hearing. When you get them, you'll understand.
This component is amazing!! i have one and the sound is great!!

As I write this, these headphones are pumping beautiful waves into my skull.
And oh my, are they ever doing it well.
I bought these headphones a few months ago. I had previously been unfortunately exposed to a pair of Skullcandy Hesh headphones, and they were uncomfortable as hell and had "alright" sound quality. They broke, and I needed new headphones. I stumbled upon these in a random electronics store, and I gotta admit, I didn't know Kicker made headphones. I tried out the earbuds (the big ones, with the magnets) and was blown away. I decided I'd buy these ones, and was slightly skeptical, but I've had them for some months now, and they have NOT failed to disappoint. They've beaten out just about every other pair of headphones I've ever cradled on my cranium. The only ones to ever come close were a $200 pair of Seinheissers, and the $250 dollar boss headphones. These headphones do all the work, at half the cost.
By the way, I've pretty much tried to blow these things.
I can't.
These headphones are just as good if not better than the Dr. Dre Studio headphones. Overall they are better because they are $200.00 cheaper than the studios. The bass is the legendary Kicker bass and it really is a Kicker 18" SoloX subwoofer in your ear. They also do a very good job of silencing out your surroundings. These headphones hit the highs and mids also. I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone looking for headphones.
This Is By FAR The Best Set Of Headphones I`ve EVER Purchased. . . .
The Bass Is Really Tight. . . The Treble Is Perfect Not To High Nor Is To Low. . .
Although They Are A Bit Bulky But After A Second You Forget About Them And Enjoy The Music!!

these headphones are pretty awesome, just received them in the mail today and so far they are just about perfect. i sat down with my dad and compared them with his $250 Bose over the ear headphones and they were both about the same. only difference was the Bose had a slightly crisper sound. these were somewhat "fuller" if that makes any sense. pretty good bass not too much not too little. with ipod bass booster it gets a bit distorted but in my stereo the bass was amazing and these could definitely handle it no distortion at all. the shorter cable it comes with is kind of flimsy. ive already replaced it with another cable i already own. i would recommend investing in an aftermarket cable which run about $15 for a good one. some larger headphones dont get enough power to get loud from an ipod or other mp3 player. these are just about perfect when you crank it up.. i do plan on investing in a pocket headphone amplifier just so i can get some better bass and volume out of these. they are pretty comfortable and light. they feel a little narrow but i also have a pretty big head. (can barely fit size 8 in fitted new era hats) im pretty picky with my music and the way it sounds.. my home stereo is a completely customized home theater system that puts out about 3000 watts. and so far these are my favorite headphones ive ever owned and prefer them over my skullcandy ear buds and over the ears.. as far as skullcandy goes ive tried them all and the only ones that come close for me are the skullcrushers. so with that comparison to a pair of headphones called skullcrushers that come with a built in inline bass booster preamp its safe to say these are a quality pair of headphones and a fair price too.. would recommend these for anyone looking
